Model Making: A Hands-on Approach to Architecture.
From an early age, I've been drawn to hands on activities—transforming raw materials into tangible forms that breathe life into ideas. While model making is a fading practice in the digital age of architecture, I feel that it remains invaluable. Physical models offer an unmatched depth and connection to a project, allowing for an intimate exploration of space, texture, and form. Each model tells a story through its layers, shadows, and details, grounding conceptual ideas in reality. Below are examples I have created here at Iowa State.
